About ACSA

 

Our mission is to contribute to innovation within Australia's investment administration infrastructure, support the development of custody professionals, and to provide leadership in representing our members.

  

The Association 

The Australian Custodial Services Association Limited's (ACSA) primary aim is to represent the custodial and investment administration industry. As a leading industry innovator, ACSA works closely with industry bodies to consult on regulatory changes, lobby on behalf of its members and promote the custody and investment administration industry.

 

ACSA was formed in 1994 to respond to the interests of the Australian custodial and investment administration industry. As at January 2015 ACSA has 11 full members and 21 associate members who hold securities in excess of $2.5 trillion in custody and under administration, and who employ more than 4000 staff.

Objectives

ACSA’s key objectives are to:

  • Represent the interests of members and the Australian custodial and investment administration sector;
  • Build partnerships with regulatory bodies and peer organisations both within Australia and overseas;
  • Maintain the custodial sectors focus on asset safekeeping and facilitate the development of efficient and innovative custodial and investment administration practices 
  • Promote forums for disseminating information and the interchange of ideas;
  • Facilitate training and professional development; 
  • Inform members of international and domestic developments and issues relevant to our industry;
  • Promote awareness of ACSA.
