Sydney, AUSTRALIA - The Australian Custodial Services Association (ACSA), the peak body for Australia’s custodial and investment administration sector, today announced a new Chair and Deputy Chair of the organisation.
Ms Sally Surgeon of Northern Trust takes the role of Chair while Ms Jennifer Saunders of State Street will fill the role of Deputy Chair. Two-term chair Mr David Knights of NAB Asset Servicing will remain on the Board as a Director and Mr Daryl Crich of BNP Paribas remains Treasurer. The new roles for Ms Surgeon and Ms Saunders are effective immediately.
Mr Knights led the organisation through the industry’s response to COVID-19, the appointment of a CEO, as well as countless interactions with government and regulators. New Chair, Sally Surgeon also holds the role of Head of Client Services and Head of Sydney Office at Northern Trust and has served on the ACSA Board since 2018. Sally has acted as sponsor of ACSA’s Members & Services Working Group, and overseen significant uplift in the Association’s communication to members and industry presence.
Outgoing Chair, Mr Knights said ACSA is in strong hands under Ms Surgeon and Ms Saunders.
