ACSA provided feedback to the ASX on their "Considerations for accelerating Cash Equity Settlements in Australia to T+1” consultation, and the ASX is targeting to release feedback from the consultation process, including next steps in August.

Whilst ACSA is not opposed to the move towards a T+1 settlement cycle, it acknowledges the potential benefits and challenges to market efficiency, risk reduction, and alignment with global standards, particularly following North America's successful transition to T+1.
